Insight into Sister Angela’s 🌍 World

From a young age, music has always been a central part of Sister Angela’s life. Growing up in a family surrounded by sound systems and all genres of music, she found joy, comfort, and identity through sound.

Nine years ago, during a mentally challenging period, Brother Dougie introduced her to Mamma Hasine. After sharing how inspirational Mamma Hasine’s shows had been for her, she was encouraged to call into Spice Radio 📻 regularly. In time, Mamma Hasine invited her into the studio 🎙️ to speak on various topics.

Unknowingly, she was being gently mentored. One unexpected day, Mamma Hasine called and said, “I’m running late — could you start the show?” 😱 And that moment became the beginning of Sister Angela’s radio journey.

As of September 2025, she will celebrate 9 years of hosting her own show. Listeners often describe her as bubbly, a little mad, sensitive, uplifting, informative — and known for her infectious laugh.

Now a vital part of the station, Sister Angela currently hosts two breakfast shows on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 10 AM, along with occasional cover slots.
