DJ Thrilla began his journey into music at the age of 18, when he and his friends started their own sound system called Santic. A few years later, they evolved into Metro Down Beat, marking the beginning of his path as an MC, also known as “Mike’s Man.”

His breakthrough came when he connected with Glen Jammer, a well-established figure in the music circuit. During a visit to Thrilla’s home, Glen listened to one of his cassette mixes and asked if he had selected the tracks himself. When Thrilla confirmed, Glen replied, “You are a wicked selector.” That moment sparked Thrilla’s active role in the music scene, including performances alongside the Jammers crew at venues like the iconic Night Moves nightclub.

DJ Thrilla also spent over 17 years on SLR Radio, building a loyal following. In 2023, he made the move to Spice Radio 1, where he continues to bring energy and passion to the airwaves. Catch his show every Sunday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — bringing nothing but vibes and more vibes.
